Jesus taught about the importance of prayer in our daily lives. It is a critical interaction point between God and humanity in which we are allowed to come before the Creator of the universe with all our cares, burdens, joys, exerpiences and requests, and in return we find peace, wisdom, and assurance in its meditational, loving, devine place.
At Ephesus, prayer is a crucial part of each and every service. From our team prayer before the service to two seprate stations set apart specifically for the prupose of honoring and engaging in this interaction point with God, we continually incporporate this essential component of the Christian life into our service at every turn.
Ancient Christianity used the lighting of candles as a physical representation of specific prayers. At Ephesus we have a table set up in honor of this tradition where attendees are invited to light a candle alongside their interation with God.
We recognize that sometimes moments spent in interaction with God can sometimes be best apprectiated in a more solitary space. That's why Ephesus also offers a prayer station where attendees can go, sit, and pray on their own.
If you have any situations, experiences, people, issues that you'd like us to pray for we're here to do just that. Contact us with your request. You can remain annonymous if you like,
and we'd be honored to experience life alongside you in the sacred act of prayer.
