Central to the entire Christian experience is the concept of existing and living in a healthy community of people. One man said that the chief end of man is "to know, and to be known," and this can only happen in authentic, genuine community. We understand that life and spirituality happens more outside of a one hour chunk of time on Sunday nights, so we need more than just an hour a week at Ephesus together.
Because Ephesus and Southside Church is a very large church, we have small groups of people who meet once a week at various locations such as coffee shops, homes, restaurants, etc. The purpose of this time is to enter into healthy, dynamic relationships with people who can stretch us, challenge us, make us laugh and to give you people when you need then the most. In doing this, we become healthier people as we live in and model the teachings of Christ together as a community.
